April 2008 Update

After careful consideration it was revealed that Grandpa's truck bed could not be salvaged. Extensive rust past the point of repair 6" along the entire bed bottom made it impossible to reconstruct.

The good news is, a brand new entire chassis has been ordered through TCI and should be here soon. For a sneek peek, click the following link which will take you to TCI's website and some in depth information about the chassis: http://www.totalcostinvolved.com/47_53chevy_chassis_intro.cfm. Sincere gratitude and thanks to my dad.

I'm starting to gather all the engine accessories so that the engine rebuild procedure will begin soon.

Will keep you updated with new photos of the chassis with grandpa's cab installed along with his original rally rims, restored to near perfection.

Thanks and talk to you soon!
