After placing new cam in, Dad noticed that the cylinder walls had fine rust on it. We realized we needed to take the motor to be honed, add new piston rings, freeze plugs -- essentially a professional rebuild of the block. So we loaded the engine into Dad's truck for delivery to the shop.
